Jacksmith and Scout, desperately needing the money, pack up their forge and set out to rescue the princess, but neither of them are warriors, so Jacksmith decides to rally some local fighting clans to join his cause, offering to provide them custom-made weapons in exchange for them taking care of Dudley's monsters. Shortly afterwards, King Plumpfeather offers a great reward for anyone who manages to rescue Liliana and bring her back to him. Using his magic Phoenix Staff and an assortment of elemental spells, Dudley raises an army of magical monsters and attacks the Lowlands where the royal family lives, and snatches Liliana right out of her castle. Meanwhile, in the ruins of an old castle beyond the icy Alpine Ridge, a lonesome rat wizard named Dudley is plotting to kidnap the king and queen's daughter, Princess Liliana, who he is hopelessly in love with. However, despite Jacksmith's great blacksmithing skills, the job doesn't pay well. In the medieval Plumpfeather Kingdom, a talented donkey blacksmith named Jacksmith runs his own forging business with the help of his best friend and assistant, a dog named Scout.
